Mars in Taurus describes a slower-starting but persistent and durable way of acting. You may not respond immediately, yet once something seems worth the effort, changing your direction can be difficult. Drive works less like an explosion and more like sustained pressure: fewer sudden starts, but considerable endurance once momentum has formed.
- persistence
- endurance
- stubbornness
Taurus gives Mars a fixed, earthy style that slows immediate reaction but can greatly increase staying power. You may act most decisively when the goal is tangible, the result has practical value, and there is enough time to work steadily. Sudden changes of direction can feel inefficient because your energy tends to strengthen along one chosen path. The shadow is stubbornness. Once significant effort has been invested, it may be difficult to stop even when the original direction is no longer useful. Anger can also remain contained for a long time before becoming unmistakably visible. The task is to preserve endurance while developing flexibility. Persistence becomes a greater strength when you can distinguish committed effort from simply refusing to change course.
