United States Privacy Notice

Your privacy rights as a US resident: what we collect, what we share for advertising, how to opt out, and how we honour Global Privacy Control.

Effective: 16 August 2026 | Version: 2.2 | AstroZone

1. About this notice

This United States Privacy Notice supplements the AstroZone Privacy Policy (getastrozone.com/privacy-policy) and applies to residents of the United States. Where this notice and the Privacy Policy differ, this notice controls for US residents.

Business: Simon Tivadar egyéni vállalkozó, trading as AstroZone

Postal address: Felsőöregszőlők szőlő 159., 6400 Kiskunhalas, Hungary

Email: info@astrozone.hu

Telephone: +36 70 347 1251

We apply the rights described below to all US residents, regardless of which state you live in and regardless of whether a particular state statute currently applies to a business of our size. We do this because it is simpler and fairer than granting rights state by state.

Version: 2.2 — effective 16 August 2026.

2. Notice at Collection

We collect the following categories of personal information. We collect them from you directly, from your device when you use the Service, and from our payment and app-store partners when you buy something.

Identifiers — account email, name, account and device identifiers, IP address.

Purpose: creating and securing your account, signing you in, preventing abuse.

Retention: while your account exists, then deleted with it.

Commercial information — purchases, subscription status, credit balance and usage, invoices.

Purpose: delivering what you bought, billing, accounting.

Retention: accounting records are kept for the period required by law, even after account deletion, with the account link removed.

Internet or network activity — pages viewed, features used, referring page, approximate location derived from IP.

Purpose: operating and improving the Service; measurement and advertising where permitted (see section 5).

Retention: technical logs for up to 12 months.

Audio, electronic and visual information — anything you type into a reading, chat, dream description, mood entry or note, and any photograph you upload to a compatibility feature.

Purpose: producing the reading or answer you asked for, and saving your history.

Retention: until you delete the item or your account.

Precise birth information — birth date, time and place, and the coordinates derived from the place you choose.

Purpose: astrological calculation. This is the core input of the Service.

Retention: while your account exists.

Inferences — zodiac sign, ascendant and similar characteristics calculated from your birth data.

Purpose: personalising readings.

Retention: while your account exists.

Sensitive personal information — see section 3.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and the Service is not directed to them. See section 9.

3. Sensitive personal information

Some of what you write into AstroZone can reveal sensitive personal information — for example religious or philosophical beliefs, health, mental wellbeing, or details of your sex life or relationships. Mood entries and free-text notes are the most likely places for this. Your precise birth details are also treated as sensitive here.

We use sensitive personal information only to perform the service you asked for. Specifically, we do not:

• use it to infer characteristics about you for advertising or profiling,

• sell or share it,

• disclose it to advertising partners,

• use it to build a profile of your beliefs, health or sexuality.

Because our use is limited to performing the requested service and to security, no separate "limit the use of my sensitive personal information" step is required — but you may still ask us to delete the underlying content at any time, and deleting a reading, a mood entry or your account removes it.

Please do not enter information about your health or another person's private life that you do not need us to have.

4. We do not sell your personal information

We do not sell personal information, and we have not sold personal information in the preceding 12 months. We do not sell the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

"Sale" here has the broad meaning used by US state privacy laws — disclosure for monetary or other valuable consideration — not just an exchange of money.

5. Sharing for advertising — and how to stop it

We do use Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion measurement. Under California law, using advertising cookies and identifiers for cross-context behavioral advertising counts as "sharing", even though we receive no money for it. So, to be accurate: we share online identifiers and activity data for cross-context behavioral advertising, unless you tell us not to.

How to stop it — any one of these is enough:

1. "Your Privacy Choices" in the site footer. This opens the privacy controls, where you can switch analytics and advertising off. The choice is stored on your device and takes effect immediately; previously set Google cookies are deleted.

2. Global Privacy Control (GPC). If your browser or extension sends a GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out automatically — you do not need to do anything else, and we show you a confirmation that the signal was honoured. GPC is recognised as a valid opt-out request in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Oregon and Texas, and we honour it everywhere.

3. Email us at info@astrozone.hu with "Do Not Sell or Share" in the subject line.

An opt-out stored on your device applies to that browser. If you clear your browser storage or use another device, set it again — or use GPC, which travels with the browser.

Turning advertising off does not reduce your access to the Service and does not change the price you pay.

6. Your rights

Depending on your state, you have some or all of the following rights. We honour all of them for every US resident:

Right to know / access — what personal information we have collected, the categories, sources, purposes and recipients.

Right to a copy (portability) — a copy of the personal information you provided, in a portable format.

Right to delete — deletion of your personal information, subject to legal record-keeping duties (for example invoices).

Right to correct — correction of inaccurate personal information. Most of it you can fix yourself in your profile.

Right to opt out of sale or sharing — see section 5.

Right to opt out of targeted advertising — see section 5.

Right to limit the use of sensitive personal information — see section 3.

Right to non-discrimination — we will not deny service, charge a different price or provide a lower quality of service because you exercised a right.

Right to appeal — if we deny your request, you may appeal (see section 7). This right exists in Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas and several other states, and we extend it to everyone.

Authorized agents. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will ask for proof of the agent's authority and may ask you to verify your own identity directly.

7. How to make a request

Send your request to info@astrozone.hu, or write to Felsőöregszőlők szőlő 159., 6400 Kiskunhalas, Hungary. Tell us which right you want to exercise and the email address on your AstroZone account.

Verification. To protect your account we need to be reasonably sure the request comes from you. Normally this means confirming access to the account email address; for a deletion or a copy of sensitive content we may ask for one additional confirming detail. We will not ask you to create an account in order to make a request, and we will not use the information you give us for verification for any other purpose.

Response time. We respond within 45 days. If the request is complex we may extend this once by a further 45 days, and we will tell you before the first period ends.

Appeal. If we deny your request, our answer will explain why and how to appeal. Send an appeal to info@astrozone.hu with "Appeal" in the subject line; we will respond in writing within 45 days, and if we deny the appeal we will tell you how to contact your state attorney general.

Cost. Requests are free. We may charge or decline only if a request is manifestly unfounded or excessive, and we will explain why if that ever happens.

8. Financial incentives

We do not offer a financial incentive in exchange for personal information.

We mention this because we run a referral programme: if someone signs up using your referral code, you and they each receive credits. The reward is for a completed sign-up, not for handing over anyone's personal information — we never ask you for another person's name, email address or phone number to operate it, and we do not contact anyone on your behalf. The person you invite enters the code themselves and provides their own data under the normal terms.

If we ever change that, this section will be replaced by a full Notice of Financial Incentive with the terms, the value of the data and how to withdraw.

9. Children

AstroZone is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 to create an account, and the age limit is enforced on every path that records a birth date.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have, we delete the account and its content promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child has created an account may contact info@astrozone.hu, and we will delete it and confirm.

We do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

10. Marketing email

Marketing email is sent only if you asked for it. Every marketing message includes our postal address (Felsőöregszőlők szőlő 159., 6400 Kiskunhalas, Hungary) and a working unsubscribe link. We honour unsubscribe requests within 10 business days, and we do not use misleading subject lines or sender information.

Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages — purchase confirmations, password resets, security notices and similar — because those are part of running your account.

11. Data security, transfers and changes

Our servers are located in Germany, within the European Union, which means your data is protected by the EU security and confidentiality standards described in the Privacy Policy (getastrozone.com/privacy-policy). Some processors are located in the United States.

If we make a material change to this notice, we will update the version and effective date at the top and, where the change affects your rights, tell you in the Service or by email before it takes effect.

Questions or complaints: info@astrozone.hu. You may also contact your state attorney general.
